Steve Lenox

Steve Lenox is a sports broadcaster with over 22 years of experience including radio and television play-by-play and hosting for national sports talk shows and pre-and post-game shows.

Lenox does play-by-play for college baseball, Quinnipiac University Men’s Basketball, and is the update anchor for SportsCenter All Night on ESPN. He’s appeared on the Longhorn Network, ESPN 2, ESPN U, ESPN News, XM Radio, Yahoo Sports Radio, and ESPN New York 98.7 FM with work done in four NCAA Baseball Regional Tournaments. He’ll announce for Quinnipiac on ESPN+ broadcasts this season. In addition, he’s done play-by-play for USA Baseball Events, RBI World Series (baseball and softball) and National High School Invitational for MLB Advanced Media and the MLB Network. Lenox has also worked as an update anchor for 1050 ESPN Radio in NYC.

Lenox worked for MLB Advanced Media in 2011 as voiceover talent, including Derek Jeter’s 3,000th hit. In 2012, Lenox began hosting on the newly created MLB.com Full Count on Yahoo Sports. In October of 2013, Lenox became the first host of SOE Now Daily Show on MLB.com

He has also worked as a play by play announcer for numerous college basketball programs in the Northeast Region. Lenox joined XM Satellite Radio in 2005 as a host heard on MLB Home Plate. He served as a show host, update anchor, and reporter. In 2006, he served as a play-by-play announcer and reporter for the inaugural World Baseball Classic in Tokyo and Scottsdale. With XM Radio, he hosted the College Football Scoreboard and covered the Phillies, Orioles, and Nationals as a reporter.
