Jeremy Kapinos’ success story demonstrates RSR’s persistence in the pursuit of opportunities for its clients. Jeremy is the punter for the Green Bay Packers. RSR created his opportunity with the Packers during the 2008 season and even after he had never attended an NFL training camp that summer.
After a stellar career at Penn State University, RSR searched for the best fit for Jeremy to continue his career in the NFL. RSR personally placed Jeremy with the New York Jets and their special team coach, Mike Westoff. The reasoning behind RSR’s placement was clear: provide Jeremy the experience and the ultimate recommendation of one of the best special team coaches in the NFL. Jeremy turned in a tremendous training camp. Despite this, he was released by the Jets. RSR worked the phones and helped him obtain numerous workouts to keep his name on the minds of the NFL decision makers. The Jets and Coach Westoff came calling again, and Jeremy was signed to the practice squad during the season and activated to the 53-man roster near the end of the season. Jeremy saw his first regular season game experience against the Tennessee Titans and shined with a punt downed at the 1-yard line. After getting released from the New Jets, RSR arranged for workouts with the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Redskins. On December 2, 2008, the Green Bay Packers signed Jeremy to be their punter and he looks forward to a long career with the Packers.
