Neil Rackers, kicker for the Arizona Cardinals set a new record for the most field goals in a season for a kicker. During the 2006 NFL Season, Neil made a total of 40 field goals thereby shattering the previous record of 39 held by Olindo Mare of the Dolphins and Jeff Wilkins of the St. Louis Rams. With his 40 field goals, Neil now holds the record for the most field goal ever by an NFL kicker during the regular season. In addition, Neil led the League in every kicking category this season, including leading the league in touchbacks for the second consecutive season.
