Josh Brown’s Super Bowl Diary January 24, 2006
Who can honestly say that they want to go to Detroit in February? This was my thinking 7 months back preparing for the 2005 season. Now that I am actually going, there is no other place on earth I would rather be. What a thrill to see your hard work and sweat during those hot summer days pay off. This trip makes some of the harder days so rewarding. The SUPERBOWL. It is hard to find words that would even help you understand what it felt like Sunday night at Qwest field when we beat the Panthers. I did interviews that carried so much dead air time, they would ask another question before I could get the answer out.
I will try to keep some what of a consistent journal going so you all can try to experience this with me. We leave next Sunday and I will write occasionally this week to keep you all up to date…
Until next time. JB

Josh ,
We met at a kickers camp in Tampa , Fla. prior to your being drafted by the Seahawks.
You were one of the hardest workers at that camp.
What stands out in my mind is that you were always doing extra drills to help you improve your skills.
Best of luck on “Super Sunday” .

Josh,
Congratulations on your Superbowl you have made everyone from Foyil very proud. I do not know If you remember me but I was a couple of years ahead of you. I was a real good friends with Tommy Harvey. I would like to see you go to the Chiefs but I do not think the Seahawks are going to let you go. I believe you are a top five kicker in the league. Good luck I will be pulling for you.
