RSR NFL Athletes Week One Highlights

RSR NFL Athletes Week One

RSR Sports Management, LLC clients in the NFL enjoyed a great week of performance. Here are some of the highlights for the RSR clients this past weekend.

Landon Cohen
Defensive Tackle
Detroit Lions

Landon Cohen, RSR Client, had a stellar game at defensive tackle for the Detroit Lions this Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. He had two great tackles along with a forced fumble late in the game, allowing his teammate to return it for a touchdown. We are looking forward to seeing Landon’s unstoppable efforts in this 2009 season.

Jeremy Kapinos
Punter
Green Bay Packers

Jeremy Kapinos had a gross average of 44.7 years on 6 punts to start the 2009 Packers season against the Chicago Bears. Of these 6 punts, Kapinos was bale to get one inside the 20 yard line. Kapinos neutralized Devin Hester, with a total of 14 yards returned on 6 punts for a mere 2.3 yards per return. Jeremy was a factor in the Packers win over the Bears.

Brad St. Louis
Tight End / Long Snapper
Cincinnati Bengals

Brad St. Louis had a strong game against the Denver Broncos to start the Bengals 2009 season. Brad had a great snap on the go-ahead extra point and recorded a tackle on the punt team coverage.

Neil Rackers
Kicker
Arizona Cardinals

Neil looked excellent in his opening day game against the 49ers. Even though the Arizona Cardinals as a whole struggled, Neil really showed why he is considered an elite kicker in the NFL. He went three for three on field goals, hitting a 29, 43, and a 44. He added one extra point to his excellent performance.

Steve Weatherford
Punter
New York Jets

Steve looked superb in his first game with the Jets. He had four punts totaling 164 yards. His long was a beautiful 46-yard punt and he averaged 41 yards per punt. The most brilliant part of his performance was the fact that he pinned two of his four punts inside the 20 yard line, pinning the Texans deep in there own territory. The Texans had zero return yards on all four of his punts.

Shayne Graham
Kicker
Cincinnati Bengals

Shayne did not get any opportunities to kick any field goals due to a lack of offense, but he did tag a potential game winning extra point with 50 seconds left in the game after Cedric Benson ran it in from one yard out.
