Television and Radio Broadcaster
Steve Rudenstein has a broadcasting background with the Trenton Thunder, the former Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, as a television and radio broadcaster for the Rider University Men's Basketball team, and The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) College Football team. Steve recently completed his 17th season as a broadcaster for the Rider Men's Basketball program and previously hosted the bi-weekly Rider Basketball Coaches Show. He also has broadcast various sports at Rider including: Baseball, Field Hockey, Men's Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, and Women's Soccer. Rider’s home athletic events are televised on ESPN 3 and ESPN+. In Fall 2022, Steve served as the web stream broadcaster for TCNJ Football. As the Director of Broadcasting for the Thunder, Steve served as the radio voice for the team and worked in numerous capacities (including promotions, advertising and ticket sales, and media relations). Steve spent parts of six years as a radio broadcaster for the Thunder. While working for the Thunder, he broadcasted games that included former Yankees such as: Kevin Brown, Robinson Cano, Roger Clemens, Brett Gardner, Gary Sheffield and Bernie Williams. Steve also has experience as a high school football broadcaster in Burlington County, New Jersey for Connoisseur Media (920 AM The Jersey- Fox Sports Radio) and for Morris Sussex Sports (an online platform for high school sports in Northern New Jersey). Lastly, Steve has served as a freelance web stream broadcaster for different college sports on the The Sports Fan Base Network. |
